In the event of disasters Jannat ul Firdous provides emergency relief to affected communities in the shape of food parcels, blankets, medicine, tents, temporary shelter homes and other essentials.
After the earthquake 2005 & horrible flood of 2010 we came forward along with national & international agencies & put maximum possible efforts to provide relief to the people of affected regions.
Earthquake 2005
- 120 shelter houses provided
- Food bags to about 250 families
- Hundreds of blankets distributed among families.
- Rupees 500 Cash given to 250 families in addition to food items.
- About hundreds of tents provided to the people who had no shelter.
- In hospitals at Islamabad cash & food distributed among the patients.
Flood 2010
After the destruction of flood 2010, Jannat ul Firdous decided to help out the victims of flood areas on emergent basis. In this regard Jannat ul Firdous purchased food items, utensils, medicines and blankets from the local market and addition to the donation received from Jannat ul Firdous U.K in the shop of food stuff about 13 Metric tons:-

One pack was containing food and utensils for one family.
JUF sent four to five loaded trucks to the following affected each city:-
- Charsada
- Shangla
- Butgram
- Mianwali
- Muzaffarabad
- Muzaffar Garh
- Mansehra
- Rajanpur
- Kalabagh
- Essa Khail
- Layyah (in addition drinking water was also sent)
- Nowshehra and Swat (In addition medicines and blankets were provided)
JUF also provided winter clothing to the men, women and children to the people of Layyah and Rajanpur Districts. Also provided winter clothing to the orphan and poor students of Jannat ul Firdous School, Sargodha.
Jannat ul Firdous distributed over and above of 60 tons food stuff among the flood victims.
HOMES FOR FLOOD VICTIMS
District Layyah
Jannat ul Firdous has decided to provide two hundreds homes to the shelterless flood affected people in District Layyah. In this regard initial survey has been completed and construction work of 20 houses has been started from 17th January, 2011.
District Muzaffar Garh
Jannat ul Firdous has provided twenty items for roofs to the flood affected 20 families in District Muzaffar Garh Basti Haji Pur South on 7th January, 2011. The Trustees from UK Mr. Fiaz and Mr. Daud accompanied her. The roofs were distributed on the bases of survey already made by Mr. Qammar Hussain; Project Manager & Mr. Tayyab Baloch; Coordination Officer of Jannat ul Firdous.
